Wood panelling, marble, parquet floors and a treasure trove of antique furniture all serve as a reminder that this is a building with a history: this was once the home of the Marquise de Maintenon, and the house where she raised the children of Madame de Montespan and Louis XIV. Later, in 1912, the pioneering aviators from the Issy-les-Moulineaux airfield stayed at the hotel, which explains its name today.The many artists who forged the Montparnasse of the early 20th century also passed through its doors. Located between Saint-Germain-des-Prés and Montparnasse, the Hotel Aviatic is a 3 star superior hotel with 42 rooms including one suite. The modern equipment (air conditioning, free Wifi, flat screen televisions, etc.) blend perfectly with the decor, marrying excellence and charm.
